Tom's Pizza & Sandwich Shop has been family-owned since 1964, operating from the same Auburndale location near Newton's parks and universities. The menu has expanded from the original 20 items to over 150 choices, but the focus remains on three distinct pizza styles made fresh to order: original pan pizza with the hearty New England character, Detroit-style pies with caramelized crispy edges and a light airy center, and Sicilian squares with thick tender bases. Beyond pizza, the shop serves chicken wings, sandwiches, salads, and fries. The space was recently renovated. Tom's handles both walk-in orders and large catering jobs for events of any size.
