Stone's Throw Pizza & Cafe in Richmond operates a dual concept: a cafe serving espresso drinks, chai, matcha, and pastries from Sweet Alchemy mornings from 7 AM to noon, then transitions to pizza service starting at 4 PM. The business grew from a friendship into what the owners describe as "a Vermont story of craft, connection, and pizza made for dreamers," built on what they call "the hard knead and the soft rise." This is one of four Stone's Throw locations across Vermont, and the Richmond site is among their newer spots to add an in-house cafe.
