Riccardi's has been serving thin, crispy crust pizza from this Hathaway Road location since 1973, built on family recipes passed down through generations. The kitchen prepares pizzas and Italian dishes both "the Italian" and "the Sicilian" way, following methods from owner Michael Riccardi's mother Giovanna and grandmother Nunziatta. The restaurant operates dining rooms in both New Bedford and a sister location in Fairhaven, with full carry-out service and catering available for events. Their website notes they've been voted SouthCoast's "Best Italian Restaurant" and "Best Pizza" since 2003.
