Pizza Soul, located in Waitsfield's Village Square, is chef-owner Jason Lerner's take on New York-style pizza made with homemade cheese and sauce blends. The 18-inch house pies can be ordered red or white, and the menu extends beyond pizza to include stromboli, calzones, and a dessert calzone alongside cannoli. The place earned a 2017 City Beat Spectrum Award for Excellence in Customer Service. Open Wednesday through Sunday, it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
