Wood and Fire Neapolitan Pizzeria opened in Melrose in 2015 after owners Joe and Leesa Auciello decided to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza north of Boston. Their pies are made with Italian imports—00 Caputo flour, San Marzano tomatoes, and Fior di Latte mozzarella—then baked in a 900-degree wood-burning oven until soft, airy, and charred. Beyond pizza, the menu spans wood-fired gnocchi, Italian pastries, panini, salads, and a full selection of pasta dishes and appetizers. Take-out is available.
