V&T has been a favorite for over 70 years serving delicious and hearty pizza and classic Italian dishes. Founded in 1945 by Vincent and Tony Curcurato, newly returned veterans from World War II, the brothers learned thin-crust pizza making in an Italian bakery in East Harlem before opening V&T. The restaurant moved to its current location on Amsterdam between 110th and 111th street in 1951.
