The Sawmill is a full-service restaurant on the Seaside Park Boardwalk that started in 1977 as a small hot dog stand and expanded into a signature pizza restaurant known for its Jumbo Slice. The restaurant survived Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and a subsequent fire in 2013, and now operates with multiple service options including a sit-down restaurant, quick-service counter (Sawmill Express), a beach bar (The Sand Bar), and an event venue (Park Pavilion).
