Spiritus Pizza has operated from its Commercial Street location since 1971, built on the rhythm of Provincetown's nightlife. They make 18-inch thin-crust pies using sourdough, part whole wheat, and 100% organic flour, along with individual slices. The kitchen handles the expected cheese and pepperoni orders, but the house specialties—the MEATatarian, M.O.P., and the sprawling Spiritus Special loaded with mushrooms, pepperoni, onions, linguica, sausage, extra cheese, garlic, and anchovies—point to a place that's developed its own muscle memory over decades. The cafe menu extends to espresso drinks, smoothies, and their signature Espresso Shake (coffee and chocolate ice cream with double espresso and milk). Cash only.
