El Nopalito, which opened in 2022, combines Mexican cuisine with New York-style pizza in a recently renovated dining space on Turners Falls Road. The kitchen handles several specialties well: birria, carnitas, and tinga tacos arrive with rice and beans, while burritos come bundled with chips and chipotle queso dip. Their margaritas come in multiple fruit flavors—lime, watermelon, hibiscus, mango, jalapeño, and others—all made with fresh lime juice and top-shelf tequila. Beyond the Mexican standards, the menu extends to pastas, wings, and tenders, with house margaritas starting at $10 for a small.
