DeLucia's Brick Oven Pizza has been operating since 1917 when Costanio DeLucia opened a bread bakery on First Ave in Raritan. Pizza was added to the menu in the 1930s, and by the early 1950s the business converted to an all-pizza menu. The restaurant continues to make pizza in the original brick oven and is currently owned and operated by Christian, the great-grandson of the founder.
