De Lorenzo's has been making Trenton tomato pies since 1947, when Alexander 'Chick' De Lorenzo opened on Hudson Street in Trenton. The pie is the Trenton original: round, thin and crisp, built with the cheese and toppings laid down first and the crushed tomato spooned over the top. The family later moved the business to Robbinsville, where it operates today.
